Most local walkers know that the paths around Treskilling Lakes have recently been closed and barbed wired by Roche Angling Club.

Roche Angling Club bought the lakes from Imerys about four years ago.  For many years local people have walked around the lake and along the path from the lake towards Penrose Tip.  Imerys had given permissive walking rights (no signs displayed) around these walks and these have been curtailed by Roche Angling Club.

We need to get these walks open again and we need your help.  We need to find all who have walked those paths for 20 years or more.

Please collect a form from Luxulyan Post Office, the Kings Arms Luxulyan or the Treverbyn Parish Council Office.  Only the numbered forms collected from these locations are valid, but you can see an EXAMPLE here.

Complete and return the form to the Treverbyn Parish Office.  We can then pass these forms to Cornwall Council and hopefully the paths will then be re-opened so that our children and their families can enjoy all the local walks.  Thank you for your assistance.
